A SMALL LIGHT FROM TAINAN
Room for what
you haven’t said.
NightWhisper is a late-night companionship service for people who can't sleep: it listens without judgment, remembers you, and reads you an original bedtime story in a calm voice.
It is for adults aged 18 and over. Conversations currently take place through a LINE official account chatbot. The site is somewhere to learn about the service and read its stories.
Why make a voice for the night?
NightWhisper began with a simple idea: the hours when friends are asleep can still hold a little company. Not every feeling needs an explanation. Not every conversation needs to become advice.
The service is founded and operated by 夜語主理人, a designer based in Tainan, Taiwan. The studio behind it is 幻翔商用設計, XIANG Commercial Design.
A calm voice and an original story are part of that idea. Something small enough to meet you where you are, without asking you to turn the night into another thing to accomplish.
A personal note is being prepared.

What we want to keep gentle.
Listen first.
Your thoughts don’t have to arrive in order. Company begins with making room.
Keep it short and soft.
A tired person doesn’t need another wall of words. There can be space between replies.
Remember with care.
Returning conversations are designed to continue naturally. How memory is stored and managed still needs a published explanation.
Be clear about limits.
NightWhisper never presents itself as a doctor or therapist. Urgent situations need human support.
A story can be a place to pause.
The Small Lighthouse is our first public sample series. Its three episodes are original stories, with complete written transcripts. Male and female sample recordings have not been supplied yet.
